As you my know my flat is on the second floor and the garage is under level. Now this makes 32 steps to where the lift is, then 3 flights of stairs (consisting of 3, 9, 3 flights plus 10 steps to next flight) and a final 24 steps to the flat. It is therefore not a surprise that I carry a small chair, to rest and catch my breath on each landing.
I will be so fit or so exhausted at the end of my holiday. I hope the lift is mended soon.
